Following the great interest generated by the first edition of “In relation to the environment: teaching biodiversity in the classroom,” held in Venice in March 2025, the Biodiversity Gateway of the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC) and the Institute of Marine Sciences of the National Research Council (Cnr-Ismar) are offering a new event dedicated to the world of education.
On November 14 and 15, 2025, at the Città della Scienza in Naples, a training workshop entitled “Schools and research for biodiversity: synergies and educational innovation” will be held for school administrators and teachers of lower and upper secondary schools. The initiative will be an important opportunity for discussion and collaboration between the scientific and educational communities, with the aim of exploring the theme of biodiversity, promoting knowledge of it, and offering concrete tools and innovative approaches in educational programs, both in terrestrial and marine contexts.
The initiative is listed on the S.O.F.I.A. platform with 12 training credits (ID 100942 Ed. 151818).
Participation is free and includes transportation, meals, and accommodation for the entire duration of the event.
Places available: 50.
To participate, you must complete the registration form by October 15, 2025, at the following link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/QbgvzkcQXB (registration is only valid after confirmation by the organizers).
