Strongly desired by Director Mario Sprovieri and with the opening of CNR President Maria Chiara Carrozza, the CNR-Ismar Institute retreat will be held Sept. 25-27, 2024. The retreat will be structured around aspects of ISMAR’s primary scientific interest. It will also be an opportunity to meet the very large number of new Institute colleagues, interact with the members of the new advisory board, which is being formed, and reason and discuss together the many scientific challenges we are facing.
A poster session is planned to run, with exhibits, throughout the retreat. The posters will highlight the project and scientific activities that best represent CNR-Ismar. This internal communication tool will complement the presentations scheduled during the retreat and which will be coordinated by the managers/referents.
As scheduled on September 26, there will be 4 parallel meetings called “TOPIC SPECIFIC MEETINGS” (1.Oceanography; 2. Marine Geology; 3.Research Infrastructures; 4. Administration) starting at 7:30 pm.
