Oceanography Unveiled: the new event dedicated to ocean and climate

The second seminar of the Oceanography Unveiled cycle will be held in Trieste on May 8 and 9.

The Oceanography Unveiled seminars were initially launched in 2024 by OGS and CNR-ISMAR. The University of Naples Parthenope, the University of Rome La Sapienza, the University of Salento, the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (SZN) have also joined the project, involving much of the Italian oceanographic community.

The seminar series is also part of the dissemination, education, and technology transfer initiatives of the PNRR project RETURN – Multi-Risk sciEnce for resilienT communities underR a changiNg climate, with particular reference to Spoke 1, 4, 8 (pollution, climate, environmental degradation); they also represent a contribution to the Decade of the Ocean and are sponsored by the Quantitative Sustainability Lab (TQLS).
