The cleanup and trash removal activity from the banks of the Po river will take place on the morning of MARCH 22, 2025 with a meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Santa Giulia Boat Bridge.
On March 22 at 9:00 a.m., CNR-ISMAR and the non-profit Plasticfree are meeting all volunteers at the Santa Giulia Pontoon Bridge to remove together the waste present on the banks of the Po River in an area of the Po Delta Regional Park. The event is part of the activities of the HEU INSPIRE project that aims to identify Innovative Solutions to rid European Rivers of Plastic pollution. Throughout the day, the removal technology and floating plastics monitoring system to be tested in this area will be demonstrated.
