AlmaTV presents a series of episodes dedicated to the theme of “Biodiversity and Health,” exploring the link between the environment, health, and scientific research. Episode 9, entitled “Marine Research for Wellbeing,” is the result of a collaboration with the National Biodiversity Future Center and takes viewers aboard the CNR’s oceanographic vessel “Gaia Blu” and inside the Bologna headquarters of the CNR-ISMAR Institute.
The episode includes an interview with Federica Foglini, GIS expert technologist and Digital Gateway Coordinator at CNR-ISMAR, who manages marine data and supports field research projects, such as oceanographic campaigns and studies for the conservation of marine habitats. This episode offers an in-depth look at the importance of marine research for the well-being and protection of the marine environment.
