Summary:
The goal of this proposal is to contribute to the identification and characterization of high vertical velocity regions and 3Dpathways in frontal areas ,through the joint analysis of Lagrangian data at the surface, Argofloat samplings and microstructure observations. Vertical dynamics will be further explored by using microplastics and microfibers as a subduction tracer with samples collected in the water column and surface layers.
