This workshop is organized within the LIFE MAPPER project (https://www.life-mapper.eu/) and is designed to build an essential bridge between the key players dedicated to restoration. Policy makers, scientific community, young researcher, relevant stakeholders and private companies are invited to participate on this vital thematic of marine restoration!
Life-Mapper consolidates knowledge, methodologies, and best practices in marine habitat mapping, conservation, and restoration across EU seas. The project strengthens marine spatial planning, enhances decision-making, and fills critical knowledge gaps to safeguard Europe’s marine biodiversity. LIFE-MAPPER integrates fragmented data into a digital manual and a dynamic Knowledge Platform, offering searchable content, datasets, and a GeoPortal for mapping services.
