He is a Environmental Scientist focused on the sediment transport dynamics of coastal lagoons. He work mainly in finite element modelling of the Hydrodynamics and Morphological Evolution of lagoons and coastal area. Actually his research is focused on 1) the numerical study of the wave, current and sediment interaction on shallow areas, 2) simulating the long tem morphological evolution of coastal lagoons, 3) the study of the sea-lagoon water and solid exchanges.
