Micropaleontology of planktic and benthic foraminifera, integrated biostratigraphy of Late Quaternary in Mediterranean. Paleoceanographic reconstructions in marine environment (Mediterranean, Atlantic, Antarctica). Micropaleontology of fresh water protozoans (testate amoebae) and continental (lacustrine) paleoenvironment reconstruction. Use of the micropaleontological results in multidisciplinary approach including sedimentology, seismic stratigraphy, tephrachronology, geochemistry.
